MinEx CRC is creating new opportunities for mineral discovery by delivering; 1) more productive, safer and environmentally friendly drilling methods; 2) new technologies for collecting data while drilling and; 3) exploration data on never before sampled rocks, whilst also growing the Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector.

We are a newly funded CRC, commencing officially on 1st July 2018 and dual-headquartered in Perth and Adelaide, but with partners from 6 academic/research organisations, all State and Territory Geological Surveys, mining and exploration companies and the METS sector, both in Australia and overseas.

Technology Management. Development of multi-party shared risk, shared cost research focused on industry aligned research. Impact Assessment: quantitative and qualitative evaluation of projects or research. Development of technology strategy and alignment with corporate strategy. Roadmapping. Project management information systems (Indagus). Quantitative Project Risk Analysis: Techno-economic modelling to determine drivers of value and sources of uncertainty (risk). Interest in meeting CRCs or companies needing support/consultation. MTPConnect is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to accelerate the rate of growth of the medical technologies, biotechnologies and pharmaceuticals sector to achieve greater commercialisation and establish Australia as an Asia-Pacific hub for MTP companies. It was formed in November 2015 as part of the Federal Government’s $250 million Industry Growth Centres Initiative.

MTPConnect is an independent and trusted voice, calling for change to support the sector. It fosters collaboration and competition, aggregates existing knowledge and shares it with the broader sector. It also jointly funds projects that address the Sector Growth Priorities and the constraints and gaps identified in the sector. Growth Centres get involved in providing feedback to government on CRC and CRC-P applications as well as other grants. We can work with potential applicants to assist with the proposal development, finding collaborators/partners, and identifying competitive advantage.
