A/Professor Helen Thompson conducts eResearch which harnesses the power of advanced information and communication technologies (ICT) for research and practice change. Characterised by collaboration and facilitated by fast, high-capacity networks her eResearch activities are diverse and multi-disciplinary and have application across all disciplines. She has a particular focus on the economic and social development of regional and rural communities and industries.
